Meet Dayna

Hey Hey Hey!!!

My name is Dayna. I'm so glad you're here!!

I'm a midwest girl, born and raised in Kansas. I am married to my wonderful husband Tim and we have celebrating 9 years of marriage this year. (yep we got married young) He's my best friend and the person I love spending my time with.

I have two kids, Mckenzie who's 5 and entirely to smart for her own good and Parker who is my persistent little love bug and he's 1.

We have a really normal life, I stay home with the kids and run and oversee the functioning of our somewhat well oiled system we call home. :) It's not always easy, and often over whelming but it's so worth it.

I love to write, I love to encourage and love to teach, so what better way to fullfill my passions than blogging? :) I hope you'll join me on this journey.

Random facts about me;

• I know a ton of songs and have been called a human juke box.
• I love flip flops, wear them almost everywhere, including church. 
• I still have the same eye shadow I used in high school, I know, I know that seems gross and I've kept it WAY longer than any make up artist would suggest but it's lasted forever AND it's my favorite color that is no longer made. So I think it's a win, win really. :)
• The majority of my wardrobe is from goodwill- that place is AH-mazing.
• I still put on my tap shoes from college and tap dance with my daughter in the kitchen- cause I'm cool like that.
• I sing silly songs to my kids as babies to get them to eat their food- it works, no lie.
• I'm a planner- I just can't help myself
• I shop for christmas gifts all year long- no waiting til after thanksgiving for this girl.
• I like to dip potato chips in cottage cheese, I know it sounds gross but try it, you'll be a believer.
• I think yoga pants are a completely acceptable fashion choice for just about all occasions. It's just the truth.
• I hate being late.
• I love to repurpose or reuse anything that you can find cheap or for free. Why spend a lot of money for something if you don't have to.
• I love Jesus with all my heart- that probably should've been at the top of this list but I honestly just thought of it..hmmm, maybe I'm not as spiritual as I thought. ha
• I am the women's ministry coordinator at our church
• I am new to blogging, but I LOVE to write. So I'm excited.
